The 3DO Control Pad
The 3DO Company is shipping a new, affordable controller designed for fast gameplay. Ideal for people looking to add another controller to their existing system, the 3DO(TM) Control Pad features a seven-button configuration, an eight-way directional pad, an extended cable, and a comfortable grip. The 3DO Control Pad works with any 3DO system and is now available in stores at a retail price ranging from $19.95 to $24.95.

Panasonic Software Company, publisher of Capcom╒s hit arcade game, Super Street Fighter II Turbo(TM) for the 3DO system, is now offering the 6-Button Control Pad developed for this critically acclaimed title. FLIGHTSTICK PRO
CH Products╒ FLIGHTSTICK PRO(TM) for 3DO systems is an extended analog joystick that offers a full range of combat features and four-way viewing allowing total command of the player╒s vehicle.
FLIGHTSTICK PRO features top gun precision, a realistic professional jet grip, responsive throttle control, durable components, a sturdy base, and a one-year warranty. Mouse
Panasonic this week announced that it plans to ship a three-button mouse for the 3DO system, providing players with an optional method of interacting with titles that take advantage of a pointing device. 3DO software titles that currently take advantage of the mouse peripheral include World Cup Golf(TM) Hyatt Dorado Beach, Lemmings(TM) and Lemmings Chronicles(TM), Shanghai: Triple Threat(TM), Crime Patrol(TM), and Mad Dog McCree II: The Lost Gold(TM). The mouse is expected to be available from Panasonic in March 1995. Specific pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.
Panasonic and GoldStar Digital Video Upgrades
The first digital video upgrades for the U.S. market are scheduled to debut early this year from Panasonic and GoldStar USA. The digital video upgrades will provide the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer system with the capability to play movies, music videos, games, and other titles incorporating MPEG-1 video and audio content. Titles that currently take advantage of the MPEG capability include Silence of the Lambs, Dances With Wolves, Black Rain, Moonstruck, and Star Trek II, III, IV, V, and VI. Also available are music videos from artists including Peter Gabriel, Pete Townsend, Brian Adams, and Eric Clapton.
The Panasonic digital video upgrade, the Video CD Adapter, is designed to attach to the side of Panasonic╒s 3DO system. The Panasonic Video CD Adapter is scheduled to be available in the first quarter 1995, at a suggested retail price of $249.95. The GoldStar
digital video upgrade, the Digital Video Module, is a small, self-contained cartridge that fits inside the Goldstar╒s 3DO system. GoldStar╒s Digital Video Modules are expected to be available in early 1995.
Light Gun
The GAMEGUN(TM), which was launched in June 1994 by American Laser Games (ALG) for the 3DO system, is a light gun peripheral designed to enhance gameplay and speed of response time in shooting games. The GAMEGUN can be used with several titles for the 3DO system, including, Demolition Man(TM), Crime Patrol, Mad Dog McCree(TM), Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold(TM), and Who Shot Johnny Rock?(TM). The GAMEGUN is available now at a suggested retail price of $54.95.
